Fishing for Barra in the middle of winter isn’t ideal. Most people will recommend either the “buildup”or  the “runoff” as the best time of year for Barramundi Fishing in the Northern Territory. But fishing for Winter Barra isn’t a waste of time. As I prove in this video.

I couldn’t believe that I actually achieved what I had set out to prove. On this particular day I was fishing land-based, in the middle of winter and using soft vibe lures. The Barramundi I caught was at that time my biggest one ever. Over the next 6 months I beat that PB twice. I have videos of those two fish being caught as well.

This was my first ever NT Fishing Adventures video. I shot it with an old GoPro and my iPhone. Still to this day one of the most memorable fish I have ever caught.
